the Dreadfall Experiment: i took apart a set of falls that had never really worked for me,
attached the individual "dreads" to my hair by pulling locks of hair through and braiding (so
I had a mixture of real braids and fake dreads). It looked silly enough, but started to fall
apart immediately b/c the "dreads" were not backcombed/dreaded, just twisted and steamed, so
they began separating into loose Jumbo Braid even before I took them off the falls. Oh well!
Here is what it looked like for a little while.
White Falls: a temporary 'do done for the Siouxsie concert:
the previous fun coiffure: a bit of leftover Jumbo Braid in magenta and brown, plus two shades
of pink yarn from GiGi. This was a nice thing -- comfy, lightweight & much easier to shower in
than a full head of plastic hair.
